The leveraged vehicle, called Maple Key +, will have $3 exposure to Maple Key for each $1 invested.
Maple Key + is currently offered in Canada, and Maple expects to have an offshore vehicle available in the near future.
Since inception at the beginning of 1999, Maple Keys annual return has been 8.88% with an annual standard deviation of 1.66% and a resulting Sharpe Ratio of 3.14.
In a statement, Maple said: "Applying the leveraged structure to the actual Maple Key returns yields an annualised return of 15.37% with an annual standard deviation of 4.31% and a Sharpe Ratio of 2.70".
