Brochet Capital Management, LLC, an alternative asset management firm, has launched Brochet Capital Partners, LP, a multi-strategy hedge fund.

Brochet Capital Management, based in Washington D.C., was founded by Alain Chetrit, an investment banker and entrepreneur, and Brooks McFeely, an experienced trader and strategist.

The primary investment objective of Brochet Capital Partners, L.P. is growth of capital. The Fund will seek to maintain a medium risk approach to investing and trading using three comprehensive trading strategies involving technical analysis, long/short strategies and a proactive approach to corporate event driven opportunities.

Managing Partner, Alain Chetrit, most recently partner at Focus Enterprises, an investment banking firm providing M&A, strategic and corporate development services to mid-size companies, brings traditional business and management experience to the fund.

Managing Partner and Fund Manager, Brooks McFeely, founder and president of MidnightTrader, a provider of extended-hours market data analysis and news for retail and institutional investment communities, utilises a proprietary investment process, employing dynamic quantitative and technical based investment models.

McFeely founded Pearl Investments, a trading firm based in Portland Maine, where he invented the firm's first and most profitable trading system to date.

With a low entry level and high hurdle rate, Brochet Capital Partners commenced trading operations on 1 July 2004 and is currently open to new investment.
