Norshield Financial Group is working with London-based Candela Capital to market its fund of fund strategies to European institutions.

John Xanthoudakis, Montreal-based Chairman of the Norshield Financial Group, said: "Demand for our funds in Europe continues to be strong, particularly from institutions. We are excited to work with Candela to further expand and cement our growing presence among European institutions."

Candela Capital is a London-based placement agency for hedge funds and private equity funds that was founded by Peter Flynn in 2003. Flynn, who will lead the marketing effort for Norshield, has 20 years of experience in institutional sales including senior marketing roles at Pantheon Ventures, Fleming Asset Management and Investorforce.

Headquartered in Montreal with offices in Chicago, Toronto, Vancouver and Boca Raton, Norshield is an experienced global money manager with approximately CAD 1 billion in assets under management.
