Peter J. Carril has joined New York-based Nexstar Capital Partners as a Managing Partner and will serve as the firm's Portfolio Manager.

Nexstar Capital Partners, LLC is an emerging market investment firm with a primary focus on Latin America.

Carril has more than 23 years of credit trading experience, the last 14 years of which have been focused on Emerging Markets corporate debt. Prior to joining Nexstar, he was the Global Head of Emerging Markets Debt Trading at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. He is a board member of the Emerging Markets Traders Association (EMTA) and has authored a number of articles pertaining to the relative value characteristics of Emerging Markets corporate bonds in addition to contributing the Emerging Markets chapters to fixed income works by Frank J. Fabozzi.
