Record market share in 5-year US Treasury Note

On Monday, November 15 over 27,000 contracts were traded in the 5-year product at Eurex US, corresponding to a record market share of 11 per cent.
Furthermore, open interest in the U.S. Treasury futures suite at the exchange also set a new record on November 12, with a total of 71,297 contracts in open interest.
The previous record, set on November 10, was 70,096 contracts. Open interest represents the number of open positions in a futures or options contract.
5 year U.S. Treasury Future:
New Record: November 15, 2004 - Market Share 11 percent
Previous Record: October 26, 2004 - Market Share 7 percent.
