BISYS has appointed John Vancura as vice president of business development for its Private Equity Services division.
Vancura, who has nearly 20 years of financial services experience, will lead the company’s business development efforts throughout New England, a region with significant private equity growth opportunities. He will be based in the firm’s Boston office.

We believe that John will be instrumental in our ongoing efforts to develop new client relationships.”
Prior to joining BISYS, Vancura served as a senior financial executive for a number of companies in the Boston area. Most recently, he was managing director for the Northeast region of Greenough Consulting Group, an outsourced provider of financial management services specializing in the alternative investment industry, where he was instrumental in helping the company grow its operations.
Prior to Greenough, Vancura was vice president of finance and operations for Digital Bridge Technologies, Inc and served in a similar financial capacity for ServiSense.com. Previously, he was director of Finance for Uno Restaurant Corporation and also served as Controller of Trans National Communications, Inc having first begun his career in the tax department at Arthur Andersen & Co. in Boston.

Vancura received his BS Degree in business administration from Bryant College and his MBA Degree from Babson College. He is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.
