Belgravia Asset Management has appointed James English to help drive the firm's sales and marketing effort.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

English, who will report directly to Peter Simmons, Global Head of Sales and Marketing, will target institutional investors and intermediaries across Europe and the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Channel Islands.

Belgravia's newest recruit joins from ABN AMRO where he worked for the last five years, most recently as Head of Fiduciaries within the treasury department dealing extensively with intermediaries and banks across a range of products including Money Market Deposits, Foreign Exchange and Structured Products.

Englaish, who was born and educated in the Channel Island, began his career as a money broker latterly with Prebon Marshall Yamane, before moving to ABN Amro

"James has established strong contacts among the financial community in the Channel Islands and I am delighted that he has joined to help us expand our sales and marketing effort across Europe," said Simmons.
