Massimo Capuano, President and CEO of Borsa Italiana, has been reappointed as President of the Federation of European Securities Exchanges (FESE).


The decision was taken at a recent general assembly of the FESE’s 25 members in Brussels.


Capuano has been the President and CEO of Borsa Italiana since January 1998, the year in which the company was privatised. In the Borsa Italiana Group, he is Vice-President of Cassa di Compensazione e Garanzia and Vice-President of Monte Titoli as well as Chairman of BIt Systems, an ICT services company. He is also vice-president of the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE) for the years 2005-2006.
