In an attempt to satisfy the need of institutional investors for greater transparency, Harcourt has had several of funds listed on the Irish Stock Exchange.
The listings, which took at the end of November and are now in effect, cover the following funds:
Â
Belmont Long Short Equity Ltd – Class B (SEDOL: B0RR144);
Belmont Fixed Income Ltd – Class B, C, and D (SEDOL: B0NLKJ8, B0NLKK9 and B0NLKM1); and
Belmont Market Neutral Ltd – Class B and C (SEDOL: B0N14Q3 and B0N14S5).
In addition to increasing the firm’s reach of addressable investor groups, Harcourt (see article in this edition on Vontobel’s acquisition of a majority stake in Harcourt) believes that this listing will also allow investors to benefit from increased transparency (NAVs and announcements are reported through the ISE and are carried by Bloomberg, Reuters, other news services and also appear on the ISE website), as well as increased financial reporting through disclosure for year end and interim financial statements.
