Surrey based Multi-Strategy Fund Manager DE Capital plans to roll out its first single strategy fund in March 2006, a Japanese Long/Short Equity fund.

The DE Capital Japan Fund, which will focus on under researched areas of the market, will be managed by Peter de Lacy, who has more than eight years experience y of investing in Japanese companies. He has managed the Japanese exposure of DE Capital's multi-strategy fund since inception and his investment approach focuses on fundamental bottom-up stock picking with a variable net market exposure.

DE Capital was established by ex-Caxton portfolio manager Donald Ewer in 2004, seeking to create a multi-strategy approach with genuinely active risk allocation across Convertible, Credit and Equity strategies in Europe and Asia.
