CFTC extends comment period on external Board of Trade definition

The US CFTC has extended until 1 August 2006, the comment period on what constitutes a 'board of trade, exchange, or market located outside the USA'.

That phrase is used in Section 4(a) of the Commodity Exchange Act (CEA). The notice of the comment period extension will be published shortly in the Federal Register.
