MPC Investors, the independent asset manager, has appointed Dan Mannix as Head of Sales.

Mannix, who will report to Peter Harrison, Chief Executive, will be responsible for leading MPC's sales efforts globally.

He is due to join MPC Investors in October from JP Morgan Asset Management where he was Head of the wholesale channel within the UK, with responsibility for sales to discretionary asset managers including banks, private banks, fund of funds and private client managers. Prior to joining JP Morgan Asset Management in 2000, he worked at Singer and Friedlander within IFA Sales.

This appointment marks MPC's third key hire in the months since Peter Harrison joined as Chief Executive in March of this year to grow and diversify MPC's revenue stream. Mannix's arrival complements the appointments of Miles Geldard and Lee Manzi to the newly formed Multi Asset team, which will launch new Multi Asset and Convertible funds towards the end of the year.
