John A D'Urso Jr. has joined New York-based Robotti and Company LLC as Managing Director of Special Situations.

D'Urso has over 15 years of experience in the trading, analysis and marketing of high yield and distressed corporate and municipal bonds as well as reorganized equities and related securities. He was previously employed at Bear Stearns, Salomon Brothers and Tradition-Asiel Securities.
