Kleinwort Benson, a provider of banking and financial services to corporate and private clients in the UK and Channel Islands, has announced two senior appointments in the Channel Islands, including the naming of Denise Mileham as head of fund administration in Guernsey.

She leads a team that offers a broad range of fund administration services, including net asset valuations, registration, accounting and corporate secretariat, to open- and closed-ended funds. Kleinwort Benson’s fund administration division aims to deliver bespoke solutions tailored to the needs of its clients offering a choice of a full package as well as one or more services on a stand-alone basis.

Mileham has more than 20 years of industry experience with fund administrators and custodians, including Credit Suisse and Barclaytrust in Guernsey as well as NatWest in the UK. Before joining Kleinwort Benson, she headed the new business division at Close Fund Services.

Says Horace Camp, Kleinwort Benson’s head of fund services for Guernsey: ‘Capturing Denise for Kleinwort Benson is a real triumph. She is a true fund professional who has been centre stage in the Guernsey funds industry for many years. Her experience will come in extremely useful in helping us capitalise on the ever-increasing flow of business into the island.’

At the same time, Jim Gilligan has also been promoted to Channel Islands co-ordinator of Kleinwort Benson’s private wealth management division in the Channel Islands following more than 15 years in the offshore finance sector, primarily in Guernsey and Switzerland.

Kleinwort Benson, a subsidiary of Dresdner Bank and a member of the Allianz group, provides services to private and corporate clients through its private wealth management and corporate fiduciary and intermediaries business lines.
