John Kenny, previously Risk Officer at Brevan Howard, is joining RAB Capital plc as Chief Risk Officer.

Kenny was instrumental in the development of the risk management framework at Brevan Howard from its inception in 2003. He replaces Steve Ellis, who has been Chief Risk Officer at RAB since November 2005 and has recently moved into a fund management role within the Company.

Prior to joining Brevan Howard, Kenny spent seven years in risk management at Abbey National Treasury Services and Credit Suisse Financial Products.

RAB's Director of Business Development Rod Barker said: "We are delighted that someone of John's proven capabilities in risk management is joining RAB to lead our efforts to achieve best practice in real time risk oversight."
