Standard & Poor's has announced that its credit ratings will be made available to the hedge fund community through Sky Road's integrated technology platform.
According to Sky Road, portfolio managers, compliance officers and risk officers will benefit from having S&P credit ratings incorporated into Sky Road's ASP platform. The core technology infrastructure for this platform is provided by the Calypso software solution.
'As multi-asset trading strategies become increasingly complex, hedge funds and other market participants need real-time credit data to effectively manage their portfolios across asset classes,' says Caroline Cassar, global director of product management for Standard & Poor's. 'The inclusion of S&P credit ratings through Sky Road's technology platform will better serve clients in need of critical credit market information.'
Sky Road's newly enhanced ASP platform provides capabilities critical for hedge funds and credit derivative product companies, including front-to-back office functionality, portfolio and risk management, custom analytics, market data integration, automated prime broker and fund administrator connectivity and workflows, and disaster recovery.
'By adding S&P's premier credit ratings data to Sky Road, we are able to provide hedge fund managers with access to greater transparency and decision-making tools,' says Sky Road president and chief executive John Borse. 'Through this solutions partnership, customers can gain a clearer perspective into efficiently managing their cross-asset trading strategies.'
