Hedge Funds Care, an alliance of hedge fund industry professionals committed to protecting children from abuse and neglect, is hosting its second annual UK benefit, a black-tie event, at the Natural History Museum in London on October 3. The evening will include a champagne reception, sit-down dinner, unique auction items, a raffle and live entertainment.

The auction lots include many items not available for purchase elsewhere, including two places on the F1 Yacht at next year’s Monaco Grand, and signed sports memorabilia including a Tiger Woods 65th Masters Flag and a Jason Robinson England rugby shirt.

Other auction items are a four-day trip to Las Vegas for two people for the Ricky Hatton-Floyd Mayweather boxing match in December, a long weekend in a SuperCar from the P1 Club (a McLaren SLR will be at the event on October 3), and four tickets to get up close and personal with the Williams F1 team at Silverstone.

To secure tickets for the event and help protect children in the UK from abuse and neglect, contact Sarah Blaker on +1 212 991 9600 ext. 342 or at [email protected].

Hedge Funds Care was founded in 1998 with the mission of raising funds to support activities focused on the prevention and treatment of child abuse and neglect. Funds are raised through Open Your Heart to the Children benefits in the US, Canada, Cayman Islands and UK. Hedge Funds Care UK is registered with the Charities Commission in the UK.

Charities supported in 2007 include the Community Service Volunteers (Volunteers in Child Protection Programme), the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (ChildLine/there4me Project), the Family Welfare Association (Building Bridges Programme) and the Lucy Faithfull Foundation (internet safety seminars in schools).
