HRJ Capital has announced the closing of HRJ Capital VC V, its fifth venture capital fund of funds, at its target of USD 273 million in commitments from investors including endowments, foundations, corporate plans, family offices, investment advisors and select high net worth individuals from the US, Europe and Asia.
HRJ Capital VC V has made commitments to a diversified portfolio of US and international venture capital funds. At the date of admission, investors were given the option to allocate their commitment amounts between a US partnership portfolio and an international partnership portfolio.
Managing director of global venture investments Darren Wong oversees HRJ Capital’s venture capital funds along with a dedicated team of investment professionals.
HRJ Capital is an alternative investment firm specialising in creating alternative fund of fund investment opportunities in the venture capital, buyout, real estate and hedge sectors. HRJ Capital VC V is the firm’s 11th fund.
HRJ Capital has USD2.2bn in assets under management and 55 employees at offices in San Francisco, Chicago, New York, Zürich and Shanghai.
