James Scott, who previously had a distinguished career with the Ward Consultancy and Coutts, and Ross Ibbotson – who has just completed 8 years with the Ward Consultancy – bring with them a wealth of experience in dealing with ultra high net worth clients and professional connections.
The two high-end specialists will be working with Joint MD Charlie Walker to enhance HFM Columbus’ existing extensive City network and to develop new relationships with ultra high net worth and City clients.
Walker says. “We expect to be able to announce further appointments in the near future and the completion of a prestigious acquisition of a Family Office, over the next few weeks.”
“It is our intention to grow organically, principally through the acquisition of smaller IFA firms which want become part of a major company such as HFM Columbus,” he adds.
HFM Columbus Group (the joint venture between Weybridge, Surrey firm Hoyland Financial Management Llp and Tunbridge Wells -based company Columbus Financial Advisers Ltd), targets the higher net worth end of the market, and offers in-depth solutions ranging from mortgages and investments to employee benefits, retirement and IHT.
