Summit Partners, the private equity and venture capital firm that has raised more than USD 11 billion since its inception, has appointed four new vice presidents. They are Amit Chaturvedy and Chris S Crawford in the Boston office, and Matthias F Steinberg and Rytis Vitkauskas in the London office.
“We’re delighted to welcome Amit, Chris, Matthias, and Rytis to our talented and experienced team,” says Joseph F Trustey, a managing director in Summit Partners’ Boston office. “Their deep knowledge and expertise in dealing with financial and operational issues facing entrepreneurs will help further Summit’s commitment to building value in growth companies.”

Amit Chaturvedy joins Summit Partners with more than four years of private equity, banking, and operations experience. Mostly recently, he worked as an investment professional with private equity firm, Kildare Enterprises.
Chris S Crawford brings the firm extensive experience in advising public and private companies on mergers and acquisitions and in raising capital via equity and debt offerings. Before joining Summit Partners, Mr. Crawford worked in the investment banking and leveraged finance units at Goldman Sachs & Co.
Matthias F Steinberg has more than five years of industry and strategy consulting experience. He joins Summit Partners from PlateTronic International. Mr Steinberg worked for several years at the Boston Consulting Group focusing on strategy and efficiency improvements, and with Airbus France as a development engineer.
Rytis Vitkauskas joins Summit Partners from an entrepreneurial and investment banking background. He founded and ran an information technology business in Lithuania, and most recently served in the investment banking division at Merrill Lynch in London.
