Epitome says hedge funds and fund of funds affected by troubled financial markets, investor redemptions, staff reductions and related issues can use it to help with operational infrastructure, identification and evaluation of systems and service providers, and ongoing operational support.
In addition, Epitome is advising existing and start-up hedge fund clients on operational frameworks to establish appropriately controlled middle and back offices.
The firm’s specific middle and back office services include: trade capture and processing; daily transaction processing and reconciliation; securities master maintenance and corporate action processing; over-the-counter derivative support; fund accounting/net asset value computation; and investor services.
Epitome also helps fund of funds with pre-trade hedge fund due diligence and performance analytics, post-trade hedge fund performance and risk analytics, and performance measurement.
