Laven Legal Services is expanding its team with the appointment of Oliver Quarmby as solicitor and senior associate. Quarmby will advise on a number of specialist services including the structuring of off-shore and on-shore companies, private placements and compliance as well as joint ventures, tax and mergers and acquisitions in the managed fund industry.
Alexandra Tzalla, manager, Laven Legal Services, says: "Renaming our law firm will enable the industry to better identify us as part of the Laven group of services. The new branding will emphasise the completeness of the services we provide and reflect our encompassing approach to offering pro-active, reliable and result-driven service from our group of independent companies.

Quarmby joins from Collins Stewart Europe where he was assistant director of corporate finance. He started his career at city law firm Stephenson Harwood, where he specialised in funds and financial services.
