Harmonic Capital Partners, a hedge fund manager which employs relative value and technical trading strategies, has appointed Patrik Säfvenblad as an investment partner.
 
Säfvenblad joins Harmonic from DnB NOR Asset Management where he was head of hedge fund research.

He was previously head of portfolio management at RPM Risk and Portfolio Management managing the firm’s investment team with overall responsibility for research, due diligence and investment analysis. Before joining RPM in 2000, Säfvenblad was assistant professor of finance at the Stockholm School of Economics.
 
Säfvenblad will work alongside existing investment partners Richard Conyers and David Pendlebury to deliver both new and enhanced macro and currency investment strategies. They are supported by Matt Bunch, systems development partner, and a dedicated team of analysts.
