The index is outperforming both European stocks (MSCI Europe up 5.64 per cent YTD) and the global hedge fund index (HFRX up 5.53 per cent YTD).
The five best performing funds in May were Insinger de Beaufort Alchemy (up nine per cent), All Markets Fund (up eight per cent), Farringdon Alpha One (up eight per cent), DQS (up seven per cent) and QAM Global (up seven per cent).
The five best performing funds YTD are HIQ Invest Market Neutral Fund (+26 per cent), Antaurus Europe Fund (+25 per cent), EV smaller companies fund (+22 per cent), Farringdon Alpha One (+21 per cent) andAster-X Panorama (+21 per cent).
