Aramid Asset Management is hosting its cricket championship finals in London on 29 June to raise funds for Capital Kids Cricket.

Keen amateur cricketers will bat it out for the honour of best alternative investment cricket team in the industry.

The goal for the day is to raise funds for Capital Kids Cricket, which brings cricket to the children in London’s inner city schools – teaching them the skills of the game, the benefits of a team sport and helping to keep them off the streets.

The venue is the Honourable Artillery Company on City Road, EC1Y 2BO, and the runners up play off starts at 4pm, followed by the final at 6pm.

Ex-international cricket players, such as John Crawley, Dean Headley and Ian Harvey, will be present. There will also be a live steel band and a charity auction.

Simon Fawcett, chief executive of Aramid, says: ‘This will be a great event, it’s for a very worthy cause close to home, and we encourage you all to come along.’

Other sponsors of the event include Future Capital Partners, Fullers, Maples and Calder and Pure Technology.
