Advent Software, a provider of software and services for the global investment management industry, has established a full-time presence in Asia Pacific with the opening of its office in Hong Kong late last year.
The office responds to the growing demands from the Asian Pacific markets and brings Advent’s more than 25 years of experience to the region.

In addition, we are thrilled to provide our clients with an increase in resources on a local level.’
Advent’s Hong Kong office offers Geneva, its portfolio management, fund accounting and reporting solution, to investment management firms throughout Asia Pacific. Geneva provides a platform for transaction entry, profit and loss reporting, exposure tracking, reconciliation and consolidated portfolio reporting across all asset classes. The Hong Kong office recently signed two new Geneva clients and Advent has nearly 30 clients in Asia Pacific.
Orselli adds: ‘The Hong Kong hedge fund market has seen tremendous growth over the last few years, cementing its position as a leading hedge fund management center in Asia. We recently signed two new Geneva hedge fund clients and are delighted with the business opportunities that continue to develop in the region.’
The Hong Kong office marks Advent’s 11th office. The company also has a presence throughout North America, Europe and the Middle East.
