Carne Global Financial Services, an independent adviser to the global hedge fund, traditional fund management and private wealth industries, has strengthened its London team with the appointments of Bill Blackwell and Aman Jairath, product development and regulatory compliance specialists respectively.
Blackwell (pictured) joins from JP Morgan and will be responsible for product development in London with capacity to work with clients across Carne’s other offices. He has over 17 years of experience as an operations and business manager within the fund investment management industry, most recently focusing on Ucits structures.
Blackwell was vice president, senior manager global liquidity product development, EMEA at JP Morgan. In this role, he oversaw all operational matters with JP Morgan’s international fund product ranges. Before joining JP Morgan, he worked for ten years within Pimco’s fund administration and shareholder servicing teams.
Jairath joins Carne from The CCL Partnership, a compliance services provider. Prior to this role, he worked for Investec as compliance team leader for its anti-money laundering practice.
