Sophis, a provider of cross-asset, front-to-back portfolio and risk management solutions, has appointed René Flor as area sales director for Switzerland and Luxembourg.

Flor has 15 years’ experience of the investment management industry, especially in the areas of wealth and asset management, investment compliance and risk management.

Flor joins Sophis from Odyssey Financial Technologies, where he was in charge of new business for Southern Europe. Previous roles include director of international sales for software solution company Aquin Components; chief executive of YoPass; managing director of Global WebTrade; and management partner at Consultec.
