LaCrosse to provide fund administration for Castle Hill fund

Related Topics

Castle Hill Asset Management, a UK and US-based investment manager, has selected LaCrosse Global Fund Services to provide daily fund administration and outsourced middle- and back-office operations to its newest fund, the Castle Hill Total Return Fund.

Castle Hill is headed by Brian Bassett and Jaime Vieser.

Prior to founding Castle Hill, Bassett was the chief investment officer at Axial Investment Management and before that head of European leveraged finance at Deutsche Bank.

Vieser was head of fixed income at Axial Investment Management, and prior to that the head of high yield trading at Deutsche Bank.

The Castle Hill Total Return Master Fund, launched today, is a Cayman-domiciled hedge fund.

“In launching our flagship fund, we wanted to be certain that our administrator and middle-office provider was experienced in both the asset classes that we invest as well as the trading strategies that we employ. We believe that LaCrosse is unparalleled in both the experience of its staff and the integrity of its systems,” says Vikram Govindan, a founding partner.

"Castle Hill’s decision to appoint LaCrosse and sign up for our firm’s flagship full-service offering followed extensive due diligence by their investment manager and their independent hedge fund consultants,” adds Rob Helszajn, head of European client relations and business development at LaCrosse. “It is a testament to the expertise of our operations staff and their ability to handle all post-trade activities for the full spectrum of credit instruments ranging from vanilla OTC to leveraged loans. We will support Castle Hill with an integrated follow-the-sun operating model out of our UK, US and Singapore offices.”
