Alternative asset manager Oakley Alternative Investment Management is broadening its range of strategies with the launch of Oakley Opportunities Fund.
The Oakley Opportunities Fund is the second fund of funds from the firm following the Oakley Absolute Return Fund.
It aims to generate high absolute returns over time by running a concentrated, thematic portfolio, investing across selected hedge fund strategies and investment themes.
It will have up to five key themes at any one time, typically invested across ten to 12 underlying funds.
The fund launched on 1 July in response to client demand for a more concentrated, purely thematic strategy designed to achieve correspondingly higher returns.
