Janchor Partners exceeds USD100 million in long-term capital

Hong Kong-based Janchor Partners, run by John Ho, has topped USD100 million for its Janchor Partners Pan-Asian Fund, attracting a strong US client base. “We run a high quality team – five of us have been together since 2005 – experienced in managing long/short equities,” says Ho, “and we’re all indigenous to Asia.” The fund uses a well-aligned fee structure, which has helped lock-up 90% of its capital for three years. “We’re not macro traders so we don’t look short-term,” adds Ho. The fund, up 10.9% this year, stock picks by targeting long-term, transparent companies with good management, primarily in China, Japan, India, Korea and Australia.
