A new fixed income long/short fund has been launched by globally acclaimed economist, Dr. Enzio von Pfeil and his Commercial Economics Management Limited co-founder, Kai-Rupert Nolte. Named the Economic Time^® Bond Fund Limited, it will adopt a macro-economic driven investment style and target global markets from its Hong Kong base. The fund’s investment services provider will be Morgan Stanley & Co International. An initial target size of USD150 million has been earmarked for the fund, which will have a USD1 billion capacity. The underlying strategy will be based on von Pfiel’s Economic Clock^® framework and pursue fixed income investments in USD or USD-linked currencies for superior returns.
