Braver Stern Securities, an independent broker-dealer, has appointed Peter D. Howard as a managing director and head trader of CDOs, CLOs and esoteric asset-backed securities.
Howard has extensive experience in specialised asset-backed securities products, and will be instrumental in developing these business lines at Braver Stern.

Howard joins Braver Stern from Cross Point Capital, where he most recently served as head trader focused on all securitised products.
Prior to that, he spent three years with Peloton Partners as a partner and head of the Peloton ABS Master Fund.
Howard previously served as director of portfolio optimization at Dresdner Bank in London, and began his career as a vice president and ABS portfolio manager at BNP Paribas.
