HazelTree Fund Services, a New York-based provider of Treasury management services to hedge funds, has appointed Wilson Pringle as a Managing Director in its New York office.

"We’ve seen unprecedented demand for HazelTree’s Treasury Suite product this year, and that demand has become heightened now that we are addressing Dodd Frank compliance with our new Form PF workbook," says HazelTree CEO Stephen Casner. "Our client base has more than doubled in recent months, so we are bringing Wilson in at precisely the right time to ensure that the level of specialised attention and service we’ve become known for continues unabated. We have set the bar high with respect to how we service our clients, and that is where that bar will remain."

Prior to joining HazelTree, Pringle was Co-Head of Business Development for Stanfield Global Strategies’ financing businesses with over USD25 billion in assets and Head of North American Client Services covering hedge funds and asset managers for JP Morgan’s Global Derivatives Services Group.

At JP Morgan his team was responsible for delivering valuations and operational support for equity, credit, interest rate, and Fx OTC instruments. Wilson also served as Senior Consultant for IBM’s Banking, Finance, and Securities practice and began his career at Morgan Stanley in Fixed Income trading.

"Hedge fund executives recognise added value when they see it, and that is the engine driving Treasury Suite’s popularity," says Pringle, who added, "HazelTree’s state-of-the-art solutions are giving these executives the special edge they need to stay ahead in a world that is changing by the nanosecond… I understand the value they deliver to clients and I am proud to be a part of that."
