Kinetic Partners and ACA Compliance Group, both regulatory and compliance advisory firms, are opening offices in Hong Kong next year as financial firms operating there look to gain a better understanding of the global regulatory landscape, reported a leading hedge fund publication this week. It is believed that Kinetic’s first Asian office will focus on advising clients on regulatory regimes in Hong Kong, the US and the UK. ACA Compliance, which has been advising Asian clients on issues related to the SEC for the past decade, has taken the decision to open a new office in the region sometime in Q1 due to a sharp increase in client demand for compliance services.
