Gamma Finance, a provider of solutions-based services for transactions in illiquid assets, has appointed Miroslaw Izienicki to the position of Chief Operating Officer.

Izienicki has experience across Investment, Commercial and Private Banking sectors. Most recently, he was Managing Director of Fifth Capital, a Think Tank & Leadership Counsel that offers high level advisory services in support of an integrative approach to wealth creation, governance and sustainability. He has been invited as high level speaker to the OECD and has contributed on the subjects of Corporate Social Responsibility and Responsible Investment. Prior to Fifth Capital, Miroslaw was Head of Corporate Finance at Nikko Europe.

Izienicki says: “This is an exciting time to be joining Gamma Finance. Gamma is well positioned to take advantage of its leading position in the market and to develop its business across a number of fronts.”

Gamma Finance recently launched an advisory business to complement its existing intermediary business in the secondary market for illiquid hedge funds. “We are seeing increasing deal flow on the intermediary side, whilst the advisory business is also developing rapidly. With both sides of our business expanding, we need to have the right people in place to successfully manage that growth,” says Florian de Sigy (pictured), founder and managing partner of Gamma Finance. “Miroslaw is a high-calibre individual with an excellent record in this area, and we are delighted to be able to add his expertise to our team.”
