A new fund which aims to give clients access to both GAM’s investment management expertise and Barclays Capital’s quantitative strategies in a transparent UCITS format has received authorisation from the Irish regulator. The GAM Star Barclays Dynamic Multi-Index Allocation Fund, a UCITS IV-compliant vehicle, will be composed of quantitative indices that when combined will aim to deliver non-correlated returns to investors irrespective of market conditions. The fund is being aimed at investors looking for the benefits of actively managed multi-strategy, multi-asset investments.
