KB Associates, a consulting firm to the asset management community, has appointed Andrew Ritchie as an Executive Director.

 
Ritchie joins KB Associates’ London office where he will be responsible for advising asset managers on the structuring of investment funds, as well as providing managers with advice on a range of compliance, operational and governance issues. In particular he will focus on advising those managers who wish to establish UCITS funds or regulated hedge funds.
 
Ritchie has over twenty years’ experience in the financial services industry. He has previously held senior roles at HSBC’s fund administration and custody business where he was European Head of Business Development for Alternative Fund Services, at Merrill Lynch where he was a Director of its prime brokerage business and more recently at IDS Tennyson where he was Managing Director of the UK business.
