Brett Meili has joined US Bancorp Fund Services as legal counsel to provide support for the organisations’ growing alternative investment products and services.

Following the recent acquisition of AIS, a fund administrator based in New Jersey, US Bancorp Fund Services continues to expand consultative support and resources to serve the firm’s alternative investment clients and larger community.

Meili has 22 years of securities law experience, including 17 years working in the registered and unregistered fund industry. Prior to joining US Bancorp Fund Services, he served as the chief compliance officer and anti-money laundering reporting officer of Stark Investments, an international, multi-strategy hedge fund complex. He also has extensive mutual fund and separate account experience, having served as the chief legal officer of the Baird Funds, a managing director in the legal department of Robert W Baird & Co, and senior counsel at the Strong family of mutual funds.
