400 Capital Management (400CM), a structured credit investment manager, has made new additions to its investment and operations team.

"The opportunity set in the credit markets and the growth of our business has enabled us to attract highly experienced investment and operations professionals, and these new additions further our goal of building a differentiated institutional asset manager in the structured credit sector," says Chris Hentemann (pictured), managing partner and chief investment officer of 400 Capital Management.

Hentemann, a 23-year veteran of the securitised credit markets, established 400 Capital Management in October 2008.  The firm actively invests in the credit markets and focuses specifically on residential and commercial mortgage and consumer asset-back securities.

The new additions include Chi Lee, who joined as a director for structured credit and CLO strategies. Lee is responsible for the sourcing, analysis, and structuring of CLO’s, structured credit and related derivatives opportunities. Prior to joining 400CM, Lee held roles at Navigant Consulting, UBS Securities, Prudential Securities and Bank of America Securities where he developed and advised on credit derivative structuring, modeling and analysis.

Kara Bingham Regan is the new director of legal and compliance. Previously, she was chief compliance officer at Sire Management Corporation, a New York investment management firm.

Edward Lee joined the firm as a director for residential credit and whole loan trading and is responsible for sourcing and structuring loan and mortgage origination and trading opportunities. Before 400CM, he spent several years trading residential whole loans for Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Yehuda Graber is the new director for enterprise analytics development and is responsible for design and integration of the firm’s various proprietary and third-party analytic, operations and accounting systems. Prior to joining 400CM, Graber designed and implemented proprietary and third-party analytic systems for Royal Bank of Scotland.
