SS&C appoints Bob Schwartz chief technology officer


SS&C Technologies, a provider of financial services software and software-enabled services, has appointed Bob Schwartz as chief technology officer.

Schwartz will report to Norm Boulanger, the company’s president and chief operating officer.
 
Schwartz joins SS&C after serving as chief technology officer for SS&C’s fund administration business, SS&C GlobeOp. Prior to SS&C GlobeOp, Schwartz served as chief technology officer at Lehman Brothers. Previously, Schwartz worked for Bankers Trust building its derivatives technology environment.

EMC, Cisco, Hewlett Packard, NetApps and many other hardware and software suppliers partner with us to provide a world-class computing environment,” says Bill Stone, chairman and chief executive officer, SS&C Technologies. “Bob’s 20 years of experience will be a strong source of support and leadership in data centre infrastructure, security and mobility delivery.
