Jonathan Schapiro joins BI-SAM to spearhead cloud solutions offering

BI-SAM has appointed Jonathan Schapiro as global head of cloud solutions. 

In this role, Schapiro will be responsible for further developing and strengthening BI-SAM's private cloud service offering, which delivers performance and reporting tools to the global investment management industry.
 
The service is designed to meet market participants' demands for cloud-based capabilities that can provide the availability, flexibility and security they need in today's operating environment.
 
Schapiro will be a member of BI-SAM's executive management committee and will report to Jim Trotter, managing director performance & reporting services.
 
Schapiro joins BI-SAM from Fidelity Investments. During his 20-year career at Fidelity, Schapiro held a number of senior technology management roles, including head of performance measurement technology with responsibility for delivering fund performance, risk and competitor analysis. His experience spans both the front and middle office, having lead groups responsible for global implementations across portfolio management, research, equity trading and compliance.
