FNEX surpasses USD40bn in listed alternative investments
FNEX has aggregated in excess of USD40 billion in alternative investment opportunities including investments in businesses, real estate, hedge funds and managed futures accounts.
FNEX launched FNEX.com, an online marketplace for alternative investments including direct placements in private companies, hedge funds and managed futures accounts, in September 2013.
The web-based platform provides investment advisors, family offices, institutions, and accredited investors access to investment opportunities offered by investment banks and funds across the US.
The distribution platform also provides investors with the tools needed to educate themselves on alternative investment opportunities.
“The rate at which accredited investors and issuers are embracing the FNEX marketplace is encouraging and a validation that there is a need and a growing demand for a centralised sourcing platform that provides a reliable resource for identifying, reviewing and investing in a full range of alternative investments,” says Todd Ryden, CEO of FNEX.
To date, FNEX has reached agreements and become integrated with custodians, trusts and self-directed IRA platforms that represent over 400,000 accounts and over USD40 billion in assets under management, with more than 200 investment banking offices and 13,000 family offices actively engaging the transactional marketplace for alternative investment opportunities.
Ryden says: “We are using technology to bring transparency and efficiency to a traditionally opaque market and have created an environment where accredited investors can focus their time on evaluating a deal not trying to find opportunities. That’s our value proposition and why we are confident we can continue to build an enduring business.”
