bfinance makes management changes in London

bfinance has made a number of senior management changes within its London office and promoted key executives.

Chris Jones, managing director – head of alternatives and public markets, will take on the role of head of the London office.
 
Pal Sarai, senior director – UK markets, will assume additional responsibility for leading the UK and Ireland client coverage team.
 
Derek Williams, managing director, private markets has also been promoted to head of private markets.
 
Other developments in the London office include a number of recent hires including Emily Porter-Lynch who joined bfinance last month as a director, investment advisory following five years at the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS).
 
After 14 years with bfinance, Oliver Cassin, managing director, has decided to move on to fresh challenges outside the firm and will be leaving in June. He will remain a shareholder in bfinance.
 
David Vafai, CEO of bfinance, says: "Over the years, Olivier has helped us develop and grow the business and he leaves a strong legacy behind him.  We have developed many incredibly gifted managers that have risen steadily through the firm and it is exciting to be able to reward their talent and hard work with these promotions.
