SS&C GlobeOp Hedge Fund Performance Index up 1.04 per cent in May
The gross return of the SS&C GlobeOp Hedge Fund Performance Index for May 2014 measured 1.04 per cent.
Hedge fund flows, meanwhile, as measured by the SS&C GlobeOp Capital Movement Index, advanced 1.01 per cent in June.
“Net flows increased slightly for June, reaching their highest levels in four months,” says Bill Stone, chairman and chief executive officer, SS&C Technologies.
The SS&C GlobeOp Hedge Fund Performance Index is an asset-weighted, independent monthly window on hedge fund performance. On the ninth business day of each month it provides a flash estimate of the gross aggregate performance of funds for which SS&C GlobeOp provides monthly administration services on the GlobeOp platform.
The SS&C GlobeOp Capital Movement Index represents the monthly net of hedge fund subscriptions and redemptions administered by SS&C GlobeOp on the GlobeOp platform. This monthly net is divided by the total assets under administration (AuA) for fund administration clients on the GlobeOp platform.
Cumulatively, the SS&C GlobeOp Capital Movement Index for June 2014 stands at 150.55 points, an increase of 1.01 point over May 2014. The index has advanced 0.48 point over the past 12 months. The next publication date is 14 July.
