Clients of self-directed retirement plan administration company Vantage can now access FNEX.com to source, review and invest their funds in a wide variety of alternative investments.

Launched in September 2013, FNEX.com is a web-based platform that provides accredited investors, investment advisors, family offices and institutions access to private investment opportunities offered by investment banks and funds across the US.

The distribution platform lists offerings and provides investors with the necessary tools to educate themselves on alternative investment opportunities.

“We remain laser focused on building a dynamic platform that offers strategic ways for accredited investors to diversify their portfolios and discover funds with interesting investment strategies,” says Todd Ryden, CEO of FNEX. “Teaming with a successful and growing plan administration company like Vantage is a testament to the compelling FNEX offer. We are pleased to welcome Vantage to our online investment marketplace and are confident this will be a mutually rewarding endeavour.”

Vantage is a self-directed IRA administrator, specialising in non-stock market based custodial services. The company’s self-directed retirement plans serve more than 7,000 clients and administers over USD700 million in retirement assets nationwide. Vantage also provides investor tools to improve financial literacy and offers on demand educational workshops and events to make alternative asset investing easy to understand.

“Self-Directed IRA investors are often challenged with identifying alternative investment opportunities. The FNEX platform fills that need in our industry and we are delighted to inform our clients and the financial professionals we serve that they now have an easy way to evaluate private offerings and gain access to a comprehensive array of alternative assets with our FNEX partnership. Traditional bank and brokerage custodians dislike non-traditional assets and choose to not hold them on their books. Vantage, on the contrary, loves them and providing special asset custodial services for real estate, private equity, notes and the large array of non-publicly traded holdings is our sweet spot,” says JP Dahdah, CEO of Vantage. “The demand for alternative investments is rapidly expanding and we are positive our account holders will find the FNEX online marketplace fully beneficial to achieving their retirement goals.”
