Amundi has appointed Jeannine Daniel as Head of Equity Strategies, Senior Analyst at Amundi Alternative Investments, based in its London office.
Using her wide experience in the alternative investment space and more particularly in Hedge Fund manager selection, Jeannine, with the support of her team, will be responsible for sourcing, selecting and monitoring the best Hedge Fund managers for Event Driven and other Equity strategies, for the needs and benefits of Amundi Alternative Investments’ multi-manager solutions and Irish Managed Account Platform. She reports to François-Regis Bocqueraz, Global Head of Hedge Fund Manager Relations and Selection.
Daniel has 10 years Hedge Fund industry experience as manager researcher and client facing professional on both an Institutional Fund of Funds and Family Office platform. Before joining Amundi AI, Jeannine worked for over four years as a Senior Analyst at Kedge Capital Services, where as part of a team she was in charge of Hedge Fund manager selection on a global basis (US, Europe, Asia) across hedge fund strategies. In her role, Daniel held long relationships with a variety of Equity focused funds.
Prior to this, Daniel worked as Assistant Vice President and Senior Research Analyst at Ivy Asset Management from January 2005, where she was responsible for co-ordinating the firm’s European research efforts and for the sourcing and investment due diligence of Hedge Fund managers across a variety of strategies. Daniel started her career in 2001 and worked in various roles at JP Morgan and Barclays Global Investors.
Daniel holds a bachelor’s degree with honours in Business Management from Royal Holloway, University of London.
