Steben & Company promotes John Dolfin to CIO

Steben & Company, a provider of alternative investments, has promoted John Dolfin, CFA, to Chief Investment Officer of the firm.

Prior to his promotion, Dolfin was Director of Research and was responsible for due diligence and allocation to the various hedge funds and trading advisors in Steben Funds. Prior to joining Steben & Company, John was Managing Director, Liquid Strategies Group at SAFANAD Inc, and he served as Director, Head of Macro and CTA Strategies at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. Dolfin earned his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from The University of Oxford in 1993, and a Masters in Economics from Yale University in 1996. John has been a CFA charter holder since 2005.
