Hedge Connection has released a suite of enhancements to The Boardroom, its social network of alternative investment funds, allocators and thought leaders.
The upgrades incorporate LinkedIn, add internal messaging and launch valuable new services for members.

Hedge Connection has deeply integrated the LinkedIn network into The Boardroom. The new functionality seamlessly enables members to import their LinkedIn profile photo and summary. Furthermore, each connected member will have a LinkedIn icon on their profile displaying a widget with relevant LinkedIn details and links. A powerful new discovery tool scans your LinkedIn account and cross-references it with Boardroom members to display common connections across the Hedge Connection platform.
“By leveraging LinkedIn, Hedge Connection members can discover their connections in the Boardroom, see the funds they are following, and connect on a deeper level,” says Managing Partner, Rob Arthurs. “In addition we offer a vast library of information to allocators for free. Sharing this knowledge has become easier and more powerful than ever.”
As a further upgrade, Hedge Connection has introduced private messaging functionality for all members’ accounts. This new functionality dramatically improves communication efficiencies. For the first time service providers can communicate directly with fund managers within the ecosystem, provided they have purchased a company profile and messaging package. Additionally, fund managers are eligible for promotion within The Boardroom and can communicate directly with investors on the platform once they upgrade to a Premium Membership.
