RFA launches data governance solution

Related Topics

Investment management sector technology specialist RFA (Richard Fleischman & Associates) has launched a new data governance solution for the alternative asset industry.

The data governance service extends the full functionality previously only offered by enterprise level data governance services to the alternative asset industry at a significantly lower price point.

The RFA Data Governance service reports on permission structures and monitors and logs data access, and generates real time alerts based on the criteria set by the client. Clients located in the United States and the United Kingdom will be able to access the new service in a subscription format based on firm user count.

The RFA Data Governance service is the second security service released by RFA in 2015, and builds on the announcement of the RFA Virtual CISO Service in February 2015. The RFA Virtual CISO service is a robust cybersecurity offering in which clients can leverage the expertise of an RFA chief information security officer on an ongoing basis. In 2014, RFA also expanded globally to the United Kingdom by opening a new Headquarters for the EMEA regions in London, United Kingdom.

"The release of this leading edge data governance solution comes at a vital time for the alternative asset sector, as guidelines on data usage and control access are being placed on companies in order to keep data protected and monitored," says Grigoriy Milis, CTO at RFA. "RFA will continue to develop the most advanced solutions as the demand for protection and cybersecurity within the industry grows."
